About The Role
This is a key position within our Civil Engineering Assessment team, responsible for delivering expert technical advice and guidance on complex engineering projects. You'll work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external consultants to ensure that infrastructure aligns with regional objectives and engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead assessments of development applications and provide expert technical advice and guidance
* Review engineering documentation and technical reports to ensure solution-focused outcomes aligned with legislative frameworks and organisational standards
* Provide solutions to internal stakeholders and external consultants through effective communication and collaboration
* Contribute to the consistency and quality of engineering advice across the team by applying sound judgment and working collaboratively with colleagues
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:
* Experience as an engineer with a strong track record of leading complex assessments
* A commensurate level of knowledge of relevant engineering standards, planning frameworks, and development legislation
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly and professionally
