Newmont Tanami is on Aboriginal freehold land 540km northwest of Alice Springs.
It is a long-life, low-cost, world-class asset in a core Newmont region.
The Tanami Expansion 2 project, aims to extend the mine life beyond ****, investing in a hoisting shaft which will increase the production of the underground mine from 2.6 Mtpa to 3.2 Mtpa.
Both the successful exploration within the underground operation and implementation of the first Tanami Expansion has laid the foundation to further develop the operation to remain a major contributor to the Newmont portfolio.
A fully equipped camp is located 40km from the site offering leisure facilities for those flying in from Perth, Brisbane, Alice Springs or Darwin.

Your Impact
Reporting to the Team Lead – End User Computing, you'll ensure the smooth, secure and reliable operation of all end-user technology across site—supporting our people with the tools they need to work safely and productively.
Your work helps maintain high-quality digital experiences, secure systems, and seamless interaction with applications and devices.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
Maintain and support laptops, desktops, mobile devices, applications and meeting room technology
Ensure smooth operation of printers, scanners, AV equipment, video conferencing systems and onsite server room components
Respond promptly to technology issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for professional applications and end-user devices
Administer user accounts, permissions and access rights
Monitor device security, apply controls and maintain data integrity
Configure and maintain end-user devices (laptops, printers, mobile devices, peripherals)
Gather user feedback and support continuous improvement of digital services
Assist with regional and global technology initiatives and site-based project components
Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure stable, high-quality service delivery
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related discipline
Understanding of end-user computing technologies, support processes and IT infrastructure
Experience troubleshooting and supporting laptops, mobile devices, applications and AV systems
Strong technical skills in device configuration, user account administration and security controls
Familiarity with IT service management practices and asset management
Strong customer service mindset with the ability to build positive working relationships
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Practical problem-solving skills with the ability to follow procedures and improve day-to-day processes
Australia manual drivers licence
Clean shaven
Ability to work underground when needed
Your Work Environment
Working an 8days on 6days off roster, you'll work within the Technical / IT team, supporting a broad range of internal stakeholders across site—including operations, HR, training, compliance, safety and end users.
This role is hands-on and customer-focused, requiring strong communication, responsiveness and teamwork.
You'll also liaise with external technology vendors, contractors and service providers to keep systems stable and effective.
