The role supports quality improvement and risk management initiatives, assists with accreditation and licensing requirements, and helps foster a proactive culture of continuous quality improvement.You will work across a diverse range of specialty areas, including Perioperative Services, Clinical Services, Day Oncology, and Outpatient Rehabilitation, providing variety and meaningful impact in your work.This position offers genuine flexibility to suit your lifestyle. School‐hours arrangements may also be considered, making this an ideal opportunity for candidates seeking work‐life balance without compromising professional contribution.**The Position*** Liaise with caregivers and medical practitioners to promote awareness of the quality improvement cycle and foster a culture of openness within the organisation.* Assist in maintaining the electronic incident management system for SJGGH, ensuring measures and outcomes are appropriate.* Assist in maintaining the clinical audit program at SJGGH, ensuring databases and systems are in place to effectively manage the audit data.* Provide information to key stakeholders to allow informed decision making on key concerns identified through electronic incident management system.* Carry out statistical analysis of data generated by audit and present in an appropriate format to the relevant parties.* Participate in Benchmarking Activities and provide assistance in producing actions plans to generate performance improvement.* Provide analysis and reporting to the Hospital Management Committee (HMC),Quality and Risk Manager and Senior Managers for; + Department of Health auditing requirements + Clinical Indicators (ACHS) + KPIs + Patient feedback + External audits and evaluations* Participate in relevant committees and working groups, reporting and providing relevant data.You will have a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and minimum of five (5) years clinical experience.To succeed you will have to demonstrate Demonstrated understanding, knowledge, expertise and achievement of accreditation and private hospital licensing requirements.
