Position Overview
JD Associate – Capital City Mall, Camp Hill, PA. As an Associate, you will assist with daily operations and deliver exceptional customer experiences while contributing to the store's success and the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Experience – Create an exceptional shopping experience by addressing customer needs, resolving issues, and ensuring high standards of customer service.
* Sales & Performance – Drive store sales and profitability through effective merchandise management, promotional strategies, and achieving sales targets.
* Operational Excellence – Take part in daily operations including inventory management, visual merchandising, shipment workflow, order fulfillment, and store maintenance.
* Team Collaboration – Work collaboratively with team members to achieve store sales and operational goals.
* Compliance – Adhere to store policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
* Additional Duties – Perform additional duties and projects as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Retail Experience – Proven experience in retail or a similar role with a track record of achieving sales targets.
* Customer-Centric – Passion for delivering outstanding customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
* Communication – Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Fast-Paced – Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Work Ethic – Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
* Flexibility – Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
* Tech‑Savvy – Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
* Availability – Must be available for a mix of mornings, days, and nights, including weekends and holidays.
* Compliance – Consistent punctuality and regular attendance in line with company policies.
* Language – Clear spoken English to effectively communicate with customers; proficiency in reading, writing, and basic math in English.
Physical Demands
Requires prolonged standing (approximately four to fourteen hours per day), stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling to stock merchandise, and may be required to climb ladders or ascend/descend stairs. Must lift items weighing 5–25 pounds regularly; higher weights may be required. Good vision, including color differentiation. Moderately noisy retail setting.
