Physiotherapist - Gold Coast
We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapists to join a dynamic team of Allied Health Professionals!
This role is ideal for Physiotherapists with an interest in:
* Home-based assessments and equipment prescription
* Slow stream rehabilitation
* Individual and group exercise therapy
* Falls prevention
* Manual handling training and injury prevention
Key Responsibilities
Your role will include a mix of community-based and residential aged care clients:
Community Component
* Visit referred clients to assess needs and develop therapy plans aligned with their goals
* Advise on visit frequency and manage your schedule efficiently
* Provide recommendations for aids and equipment
Residential Aged Care Component
* Assess new residents and collaborate with facility healthcare staff
* Advise on manual handling requirements and design therapy programs
* Deliver individual and group wellness and re-ablement sessions
* Monitor falls and work with a multidisciplinary team to reduce risk
Additional responsibilities include
* Monitoring and adjusting aids and equipment as needed
* Conducting one-on-one and group therapy sessions
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you will need:
* Current AHPRA Registration
* Bachelor or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
* Police check and QLD NDIS Worker Screening Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Driver's License
* Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
* Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A client-centred approach
