About You
We are looking for an experienced Repairs Manager. This exciting permanent role will be based in our Adelaide office, South Australia and will report to the State Manager.
Your responsibilities include ensuring the safety and well-being of employees and customers. You will provide specialised field-based supervision, management, and coaching of a Service Field team responsible for the Service, Maintenance and Repair of equipment in the Otis portfolio of clients in Adelaide, South Australia.

Key responsibilities
* Lead the Repairs department for the South Australian business including managing the procurement and labour resources in order to complete scheduled and ad hoc repair works across the Maintenance portfolio.
* Deliver on positive outcome to customers especially in meeting agreed KPIs.
* Raising POs and receive goods for T jobs, including parts/equipment logistics coordination.
* Ensure field employee safety, quality and compliance.
* Provide general administration support for the technicians completing the maintenance and repair work.
* Building of a highly engaged workforce through leading by example a culture of accountability, integrity, client awareness, team spirit, ownership and reliability.
* Develop a sound functional knowledge of Service administration support processes and functions including internal Otis systems required to support Repairs delivery.
* Provide administration support across the Repairs department with key duties including project scope and pre‐start documentation, testing and commissioning and design registration applications where applicable.
What you will need to be successful
* Have qualifications or trade certifications within the Engineering or related field. An Electrical license would be an added advantage.
* Hold a Supervisory certificate such as Front‐Line Leadership with a minimum of 5 years as a tradesperson within the Lift industry (preferred).
* Minimum 5 years of experience supervising and managing teams in a construction, service or trades environment.
* Hold a valid driver's licence and have full work rights conditions in Australia.
* Strong customer focus, teamwork and time management abilities. Those with project management experience will be preferred.
* Strong business acumen, adaptable and results‐oriented.
* Sound knowledge of computer systems for functional hardware and software.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Ability to liaise and influence all stakeholders within the organisation.
