Overview
The Patient Services Officer will play a key role in administering an efficient patient management system and maintaining patient records. This includes contributing to the creation, storage, retention, and disposal of both medical and general records. Ensuring the patient records are up-to-date through meticulous maintenance and filing is paramount. Additionally, the incumbent will provide a professional and efficient reception service to patients and visitors accessing the health unit.

Qualifications and Checks
* National Police Certificate required for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups.
* Appointment subject to satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
* Immunisation risk for this position is Category B (Indirect contact with blood or body substances). SA Health Services are required to implement the Occupation Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
