Olympic Meats is on the hunt for a Chef de Partie who knows their way around fire, respects tradition, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty.
This isn't your average Mediterranean eatery. We serve up meat-heavy feasts with no-frills flair, cooked over fire and served with the kind of warm chaos you'd find at a family barbecue in the backstreets of Marrickville. Owned and operated by chef Timothy Cassimatis, Olympic Meats is all about authenticity — the raw kind, not the picture-perfect postcard version.
This isn’t a place for tweezers and white tablecloths. It’s for chefs who thrive in a fast-paced kitchen, have a deep respect for produce, and value working as part of a tight, down-to-earth team.
You’ll have:
* Proven experience as a Chef de Partie in an a la carte setting
* Resilient under pressure and thrives during busy service
* Strong work ethic with a positive, "get-it-done" attitude
* Confident working solo and as part of a tight team
* Clear, effective communicator
* Solid understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
* Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
