The opportunity
Make data meaningful. Shape how our people story is told.
Reporting to the People & Culture Reporting & Systems Lead, the People Systems & Reporting Specialist plays a critical role in turning people data into insight. This role sits at the intersection of data, systems and strategy, supporting informed decision‐making across the organisation and enabling high‐impact People & Culture initiatives.
If you enjoy digging into data, improving systems, and presenting insights that genuinely influence leaders, this is a role where your work will be seen, valued, and used.
About the role
In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate, timely and insightful people reporting, while also supporting and enhancing our HR systems and survey capabilities.
You will
* Source and analyse data from multiple HR systems to produce reports on key People & Culture trends and metrics.
* Design clear, compelling dashboards and visualisations (charts, infographics, insights) that bring people data to life for stakeholders.
* Prepare regular Board reports, quarterly P&C reporting, and ad‐hoc insights for senior leaders.
* Manage and submit external reporting, including Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) submissions.
* Design, administer and analyse employee surveys—from communication planning through to insight and recommendations.
* Play a key role in data validation across the Workday HCM implementation, including data readiness, migration validation and reconciliation, reporting design, and testing.
* Support the ongoing management and optimisation of HR systems (experience with Workday and SmartRecruiters is highly regarded).
* Provide training and support to the People & Culture team and broader users to ensure systems are used effectively and confidently.
What you'll bring
You're someone who is both analytical and collaborative, comfortable working with complex data, and equally confident explaining what it means.
We're looking for
* Strong analytical capability – able to interpret people data and translate it into meaningful insights, supported by advanced Excel skills.
* Data management expertise – experience maintaining accurate, reliable HRIS data.
* Clear communication skills – able to present findings and work effectively with cross‐functional stakeholders.
* Systems proficiency – hands‐on experience with HR systems, particularly reporting, dashboards and survey tools.
* Compliance knowledge – familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements such as WGEA (or the ability to quickly learn).
* Whilst not essential, experience using Power BI or an equivalent data visualisation tool is highly regarded.
Why this role
This is a role with real influence. Your work will support strategic decisions, inform leadership conversations, and help shape how we understand and improve the employee experience.
