Federal Government Agency is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic professional with strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with key stakeholders. You will work within a small but dynamic Communications team, who are responsible for managing a range of internal and external communications, including but not limited to intranet, information circulars and social media channels.
This is an opportunity to advance your career, working closely with the Senior Communications Officer to draft quality internal and external communication products, and establishing and maintaining effective relationships with a range of internal and external key stakeholders.
**This is initially a 12 month non-ongoing role. Parliamentary triangle location, free parking, free onsite gym and free childcare. This agency invests in people and provides excellent training. Positive engaged team, and culture of collaboration. Due to the nature of the agency, this role will be based in the office full-time, with adhoc days WFH supported.**
**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:
- Support the development and scheduling of content for the website, intranet and social media channels
- Draft internal and external communication products including internet and intranet content, information circulars, marketing and print products
- Manage external suppliers, including procurement of services and processing invoices
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Inbox management
- Work flexibly within the team and undertake other duties as required
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Professional with a high level of attention to detail, who Is able to manage several different tasks at the same time.
**Skills and Experience required**:
- A degree in communications or related discipline will be highly regarded but is not mandatory
- Prior experience in a communications field will be highly regarded
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Sound judgment and ability to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills with a talent for building productive relationships
- Drive, integrity, and a results-oriented mindset
- Effective prioritisation and multitasking abilities
- Collaborative mindset and ability to support and contribute to a strong team culture
- Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain a Baseline security clearance essential
