This role offers an agile, working pattern with days in the office and days from home
As we try to reduce our carbon footprint and adapt our styles of working, pladis global’ s amazing head office in Chiswick Park offers great public transport links, agile working spaces, with both meeting and training rooms, as well as formal and informal workstations. The park also offers great restaurants and services for everything you need to suit your day.
We do offer parking within Chiswick Park, which is limited and booked on a first come first serve basis, however if you must drive there are also other options outside of the business park itself.

What will this role achieve?
The role is owning the Trade and Brand Communications agenda working closely with the Customer, Marketing and the Corporate Affairs and Communications team. This role has ownership of pladis’ Trade and Brand communication strategy, from creation to execution of the plan.
What will be your key deliverables?
1. Strategy: Leadership and ownership for the Trade and Brand communications strategy for the UKI. This will include vision, priorities, activities, plan and timings through the right platform (face to face, events, press and online) with consistent message aligned to the global corporate narrative. This will require working closely with the Head of Corporate Communications, UKI to build this aligned narrative.
2. Stakeholder engagement: Drive pladis influence and build relationships with partners for key trade publications and forums, growing pladis’ visibility, and reinforcing our leadership in the category.
3. Trade press: Develop calendar of topics and build powerful communications to amplify and reinforce pladis position to our advantage: Category insights and trends, Better Biscuits platform, Annual Snacking review, Health & Happiness, Sustainability, etc. Implement the trade press plan autonomously
4. Internal comms: Build the drumbeat of news to engage internal teams, bringing our brand marketing, big bets' performance, innovation deliverables and key campaigns to life.
5. Brand Communications: Work closely with the Marketing team to build strong connections with the PR agencies on activations and align with the Head of Corporate Communications, UKI to build messaging
6. pladis reputation: Reinforce pladis reputation as the best snacking business to do business with, with yearly evaluation of pladis’ reputation, though
7. Outstanding Trade Press Office: Cut through focus on pladis priorities and branded impact, optimisation of paid media
8. Customer collaboration: Leverage pladis customer communications to encourage and influence stakeholders at every touchpoint, virtual and physical.
9. Trade events: Lead a programme of Trade events/shows, putting the customer experience first to win new business and position pladis as supplier of choice.
