Base Pay Range
USD $16.00 per hour – $22.00 per hour

Volga Partners is a U.S.-based AI and machine learning company that serves top technology giants and multinational corporations. The client seeks a freelancer for ongoing projects in the IST time zone.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must read and write in (Australian) English.
- Must understand this is a task‑based role.
- Must have reliable high‑speed internet and a functioning device (laptop or desktop).
- Must be available in IST (preferred 8 am IST onwards).
- Must be a 1099 independent contractor (W‑8 BEN will be provided for non‑US candidates).
- Must have access to positive Wi‑Fi during working hours.
Task‑Based Project Scope
Tasks will be assigned as they become available; work may be irregular or intermittent.
Notifications will be sent via WhatsApp, email, or Slack.
All tasks are offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis, making this ideal for individuals comfortable with flexible, on‑demand work.
Position Overview
The role is to research, analyze, and review language data for various datasets that will be introduced through on‑the‑job training.
Ideal candidates have a background in technology, strong logical and analytical skills, and a proactive attitude toward continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Interpretation – Analyze datasets and translate raw data into actionable insights.
- Data Manipulation – Handle data batches, label data, and manipulate data according to project requirements.
- Quality Assurance – Oversee training data quality, identify issues, and implement corrective measures.
- Language Alignment – Provide translations and contextual understanding to ensure data aligns with language and cultural nuances.
- Process Recommendations – Offer suggestions to improve business processes based on data analysis.
Desired Qualifications
- Some experience in data labeling, manipulation, or quality assurance, especially in technology or related fields.
- Logical and analytical skills to ensure data accuracy and support project goals.
- Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement and staying updated with AI advances.
Required Skills
- Excellent logical reasoning and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets.
- Experience with data labeling and manipulation techniques, ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Australian English.
- Strong computer skills, particularly typing and writing.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude with a commitment to fostering positive experiences for others.
- Certifications as a linguist will be considered a plus.
Interview Process

- Selected candidates will complete an Applicant Response Form and may be invited to a first and final interview.
Additional Requirements
- Must have own device (laptop/desktop).
- Freelance/task‑based; 0 to 20 hours a week.
- Must be available in IST (preferred 8 am IST onwards).
- Must have access to good Wi‑Fi during working hours.
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
- Global contractors will be onboarded through Deel.com to ensure compliance.
- Successful completion of onboarding is required to begin work.
Compensation
- USD $16.00 to $22.00 per hour.
