This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Desktop/Network Support - Field Services Technician, working with the #1 IT Service Provider for NSW Public Schools.
This role is specifically for those who have recently finished their schooling in the last two years or HSC over the previous three years and would like to step into an IT career.
Gone are the days of schools using teachers to manage their technology. This company's vision is to get teachers back to teaching, allowing them to be the best educators they can be. This will ultimately result in students receiving the best education possible.
In this IT traineeship, you will be providing both onside and offside support to teachers, admin staff, and principals.
You will maintain equipment such as computers, laptops, and tablets and also create tutorials and how-to videos for your clients.
This is an excellent opportunity to begin your IT industry career as full training will be provided and awarded certifications up to Certificate IV upon completion and progression of the traineeship.
To succeed in the role, you must have a driver's licence and your own vehicle as you will be travelling as part of the position. You will be reimbursed per km for travel.
The salary is based on the amount of time after school graduation (up to $738 per week, plus Super, depending on your highest year of schooling completed, and the number of years currently out of school.
These figures are as per Schedule E—National Training Wage of the Miscellaneous Award 2020. and will increase upon completion of each level of the apprenticeship completed (Up to $1,069.45 per week).
