An opportunity is available for an experienced
Process Business Analyst
to support business-led initiatives within a large, complex, and highly regulated Australian organisation. This role will focus on process analysis, optimisation, and requirements definition, working closely with business stakeholders to drive clarity, alignment, and measurable improvement outcomes.
This position is well suited to a Business Analyst with strong
process mapping, stakeholder facilitation, and documentation skills
, who is comfortable operating within structured governance environments and supporting business change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Elicit, analyse, and document business requirements using structured Business Analysis techniques
* Facilitate workshops to map
current-state (AS-IS)
and
future-state (TO-BE)
business processes
* Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities aligned to business objectives
* Develop high-quality artefacts including process maps, requirements documentation, and business cases
* Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood, traceable, and fit for purpose
* Support change initiatives by maintaining alignment between business objectives and delivery outcomes
Skills and Experience Required
* Proven experience as a
Process Business Analyst
in complex organisational environments
* Strong process analysis, modelling, and documentation capability
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills
* Demonstrated experience producing structured requirements documentation and business cases
* Comfortable working within governance, approval, and assurance frameworks
Desirable Experience
* Experience in
financial services or other regulated environments
* Exposure to enterprise transformation, optimisation, or continuous improvement initiatives
