**About the role**
Bupa is a leading health insurance provider in Australia. Our customers include over 4.7 million Australian residents and international visitors who come to Australia as a tourists, workers and students.
Reporting to the General Manager, Accelerated Performance and Delivery you will utilise your experience in Private Health Insurance and business improvement programs to help the squads and teams they support to improve their performance. You will identify methods to use at relevant points of the initiative cycle to improve performance, while leveraging their knowledge and experience on specific topics to accelerate outcomes for Bupa.
You will be required to collaborate, listen, analyse and give structured and constructive feedback to help people improve their capability, ensuring that any consistent challenges are surfaced and plans for remediation are captured, coordinated and actioned collaboratively.
You will be accountable in:
- ** Coaching and Development**: Provide coaching to squad and team members at critical points in the initiative cycle, measuring and enhancing their capabilities effectively.
- ** Capability Assessment**: Identify specific capability gaps within squads and work with Performance Coaches, Workstream Leads, People Business Partners, and the Head of Performance Coaching to develop actionable and measurable plans for improvement.
- ** Continuous Improvement**: Challenge squad leads and members to embrace a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging them to identify opportunities for faster and more efficient value delivery.
- ** Foster an environment of learning**:where team members feel safe to fail and learn from their experiences, championing this culture across all work streams and the broader Health Insurance sector.
- ** Collaboration and Feedback**:Engage in active listening and analysis to provide structured and constructive feedback, ensuring consistent challenges are identified and collaboratively addressed.
Your leadership will be instrumental in driving performance enhancement and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within Bupa.
**About You**
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualification in a business-related discipline.
- Experience in large-scale change programs, particularly implementing business strategies, either in-house or supporting leading clients in management consulting.
- Strong expertise in two of the following disciplines and moderate knowledge in the remaining three: agile, lean operations, project management, financial rigor / commercial modelling and conceptual problem-solving.
- Experience in influencing and coaching cross-functional teams with a pragmatic, approachable and supportive coaching style.
- A strong understanding of customer experience and customer centricity principles.
- Demonstrated patience, resilience, and an ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
- Systems thinking - ability to connect pieces of work from across the business to reduce duplication of efforts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with strong listening and comprehension skills.
- Enthusiasm, relentless optimism, and determination.
