About the role
Spot on bathrooms is seeking an experienced Wall and Floor Tiler to join our team in Newcastle, NSW. As a Full-time Wall and Floor Tiler, you will play a key role in the installation of high-quality tiles for residential and commercial bathroom renovations and new builds. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering excellent workmanship.
What you'll be doing
1. Measure, cut, and install wall and floor tiles according to project specifications
2. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate tile placement
3. Apply adhesive and grout in a professional and efficient manner
4. Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the tiling process
5. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion
6. Identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the tiling process
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Wall and Floor Tiler, preferably in the building and construction industry
2. Strong knowledge of tiling techniques, materials, and industry standards
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
4. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
5. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment
6. Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
