 
        
        Job Title: Assistant Director - Governance
This is a pivotal role within the Governance and Executive Support branch, responsible for ensuring the Administrative Review Tribunal has effective frameworks, structures, processes, and documentation in place to achieve its performance objectives and manage risk.
About the Opportunity:
 * Develop strategic plans and manage projects to advance legislative, policy, and organisational objectives.
 * Provide high-level advice on complex issues and maintain effective working relationships with various stakeholders.
 * Lead and manage teams to coordinate competing priorities, develop team capability, and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Ensure compliance with governance requirements and legislation.
 * Maintain a sound understanding of the ART's operations, structure, and legislative framework.
 * Identify and mitigate risks, and implement controls to ensure consistent outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
 * Australian Citizenship as a condition of engagement.
 * Undertake an Australian Federal Police Check and Health Assessment.
Highly Desirable:
 * Relevant qualifications or experience in governance and leadership.
