About the Role
This is a field-based, on-road sales role ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering practical solutions to customers.
Based in Gladstone, you will manage an established territory and regularly travel to Bundaberg, Yeppoon, and Rockhampton.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular on-road sales visits to civil construction and infrastructure clients
* Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
* Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region
* Execute a structured weekly call plan and business development strategy
* Promote hire, sales, and engineered solutions tailored to project requirements
* Provide consultative, solutions-focused support to customers on-site
* Maintain accurate and timely records in the CRM system
* Liaise with internal teams including engineering, operations, and workshop staff
* Assist the branch workshop as required to support operational needs
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity
* Identify opportunities to expand the product range and solve emerging industry challenges
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 2 years' experience in on-road or field sales (civil, construction, industrial, or equipment hire highly regarded)
* Proven ability to generate new business and grow existing accounts
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Customer-focused mindset with a problem-solving approach
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment
* Competent with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic Excel
* CRM experience preferred but not essential
* Full driver's licence required
* No prior product knowledge necessary - comprehensive training provided
