Shangri-La Boracay
Located in the country's premier beach destination, Shangri-La's Boracay Resort and Spa is a luxurious and serene haven for vacationers. DUTIES
Under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Director of Events Management leads and directs the Events Management Team to achieve the catering revenue goals set by the hotel through specific sales strategy implementation outlined in the Marketing Plan.
He/she is responsible for driving and providing training and personnel development to the team, as well as contributing ideas and feedback to the operation teams for service enhancement.
REQUIREMENTS
* Highly seasoned Assistant Director of Events Management or in the same capacity in an international resort/hotel
* Knowledgeable in using Delphi system
* Ability to develop strategies for business growth, with knowledge in forecasting and driving the team to achieve revenue goals
* Proven leadership skills and ability to perform consistently under pressure. Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Willing to be relocated to Boracay Island.
