About the Role
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Workers to join our team in a supportive rural aged care home. You will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care and enhancing the daily lives of our residents.
No two days are the same! As Personal Care Worker, you will:
* Provide personal care including assistance with showering, dressing and grooming
* Support residents with mobility and safe manual handling
* Assist with meals, hydration, and daily living activities
* Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families
* Observe and report changes in residents’ health and wellbeing
* Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team
* Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans
About You
You’ll thrive with us if you have:
* Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
* Previous experience in aged care or a similar role (desirable)
* A genuine passion for caring for older people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A positive, team-focused attitude
* Ability to work across a variety of shifts
* Understanding of person-centred care
* Current National Police Check and relevant vaccinations (or willingness to obtain)
