Aveley SC opened in 2018 with an inaugural enrolment of 260 students in Year 7. The College has approximately 1600 students enrolled in 2025. The College is committed to an ethic of excellence. The Role
Aveley Secondary College is seeking a dedicated, organised and highly motivated Associate Manager Corporate Services (MCS) with a high level of experience and skills in an educational context to join our collaborative team.
This role reports to and works closely with the MCS, including planning and decision making with a high focus on strategy and operational improvement. Our Corporate Services structure is devolved with day-to-day management undertaken by various staff portfolios and escalated to the Associate MCS and MCS when required.
The Associate MCS assists the MCS with the Schools Financial Performance, Promotions and Public Relations, Building and Assets, Human Resources, School and Student Administration and strategic operational input to the development of the College's workforce and business plans. You would assist the MCS to lead operational enhancement, financial planning, strategic budgeting and ensures our built school environment continues to be a well-resourced, well maintained and an engaging context for teaching and learning.
The successful applicant will ideally have sound skills and attributes in managing teams with the flexibility to adapt within the role to suit the growing business needs of the college. You should model effective and quality customer and administrative support service delivery and use excellent interpersonal and communications skills to work in collaboration with the administration team, school support staff, our school community and teaching staff.
This position ideally requires a flexible team player with sound communication skills and a thorough understanding and operational knowledge of the relevant systems (as outlined above) and policies required to maintain, monitor, analyse and extract information from these systems. The Associate MCS may be responsible for overseeing the Corporate Services team and ensuring compliance with financial and operational procedures.

* Demonstrated considerable understanding of, and ability to apply, human resource management and customer service principles and practices.
* Demonstrated ability to provide input to the development, implementation and monitoring of business and strategic plans.
* Demonstrated sound conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns, process improvements, problems and solutions.
