*In this senior nursing role, you'll operate as a clinical leader within the Child & Youth Mental Health Service, providing expert guidance in complex assessment, risk management and care coordination. You'll work closely with medical officers, allied health clinicians and team leadership to support intake processes, crisis response and continuity of care across the service.
You'll also play a key role in strengthening clinical capability through supervision, mentoring and education, supporting less experienced clinicians to deliver safe, evidence-based practice. Your leadership will contribute to service development, quality improvement and the ongoing evolution of rural mental health care, allowing you to influence outcomes at both an individual and service-wide level.

Central Queensland Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services delivers community-based mental health care across the lifespan. Our Child & Youth teams provide specialist assessment, treatment and recovery support across rural and regional communities, working closely with families, schools and local services.

About you:
You are qualified and AHPRA registered to practice as a Registered Nurse
You are an experienced mental health clinician passionate about child & youth care
You bring strong clinical judgement and confidence working autonomously
You value collaboration, reflection and continuous improvement
You are registered with the relevant professional body for your discipline
You are ready to make a meaningful impact in a rural community
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $65,684 p.a. is comprised of:
An hourly rate between $ $72.58 p.h.
