With continued growth, we're looking for a Commercial Lawyer to join the team.
You will play a key role in supporting the success of the Irwell Law team by delivering clear, pragmatic, legal advice across a wide range of commercial matters through our brand new advice helpline.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thinking on their feet and helping clients navigate day-to-day legal challenges. You'll provide practical, easy-to-understand advice across a wide range of commercial issues, supporting our clients when they need it the most. This will be a phone-based role.
What will you be doing?
Providing sound, easily understanding advice to our clients on topics such as:
* Buying and selling businesses
* Commercial contracts and supplier agreements
* Commercial leases and property matters
* Business structuring and corporate governance
* Trademarks, IP and brand protection
* Privacy, data and technology matters
* Regulatory compliance and risk management
* Commercial disputes and debt recovery
* Deeds of release
What will you need?
* 3 years PQE with strong Commercial Law experience.
* A current unrestricted APC.
* Confidence advising on a broad range of commercial matters.
* The ability to communicate and break down complex legal queries into simple, concise advice.
* The ability to build rapport quickly, via the phone.
