The Job
* Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
* Educating patients and family members about speech disorders and causes.
* Collaborating with and consulting other health professionals external to OCH as needed.
* Developing, implementing, and monitoring treatment programs.
* Maintaining detailed records related to client conditions, care plans, therapies, and progress.
* Ensuring high standards of care for clients and their families.
* Keeping up to date with the latest developments in speech pathology to provide the best care possible.
The requirements:
* Demonstrated achievement or capability in relevant areas as per the Position Description.
* Ability to assess clients' conditions and work with treatment plans.
* Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively with clients of different personalities.
* Computer literacy.
