As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic supporting Fortescue's operations across multiple sites, your expertise will be vital in maintaining and optimising our fleet of Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME). You'll play a key role in keeping our equipment running safely and efficiently, directly contributing to the reliability of our operations and supporting Fortescue's broader sustainability and decarbonisation goals.

Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and service large-scale mobile mining equipment, focusing on CAT 793 Dump Trucks
* Diagnose and resolve faults to keep operations running smoothly
* Perform both workshop and pit duties as required
* Execute planned & preventative maintenance to optimize fleet performance
* Attend to urgent breakdowns in the field, ensuring minimal downtime
* Collaborate with a dynamic mobile maintenance team to achieve top-tier results
* Always follow strict safety and operational protocols
Qualifications and Experience
* Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology/ Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical
Technology – a must-have
* Mobile plant experience in a mining environment – essential
* FIFO experience and a strong understanding of remote site operations
* Commitment to workplace safety – non-negotiable
* Current working rights in Australia
