Silicon Quantum Computing is pioneering the future of quantum technology.
Our Chair, Simon Segars, brings deep global experience as we scale our technology and commercial impact.
We're generating significant revenue and working closely with multinational partners to solve complex problems with quantum solutions.
About the Role
The engineer will collaborate with leading teams at SQC to help develop a scalable, error-corrected digital quantum computer.
Responsibilities include designing, testing, optimising, and measuring a high-fidelity phosphorus nuclear spin processor, and developing novel measurement techniques for atomic qubits.
* Develop and perform low noise, high frequency measurements of multi-qubit devices in silicon
* Assist in setting up, optimising, and operating experimental setups based on cryogenic dilution refrigerator
* Develop and optimise amplification chains for large-scale rf-cryogenic measurements
* Design and measure large-qubit systems to quantify sensor performance
* Conduct experiments, gather, compile, prepare, and analyse data
* Write and analyse the code for execution and analysis of the measurements
* Undertake analysis of project data for publication including the preparation of manuscripts
Requirements
* Masters degree in physics, electrical engineering, or equivalent
* Demonstrated experience using common RF and microwave test equipment
* Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research
* Proficiency in contemporary programming languages, such as Python
