Apply now and join our team!In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:Lead risk management activities, including conducting regular risk assessments, hazard identification, training, consultation, observations, and communication.Maintain and update work instructions and JHAs relevant to all workshop activities, in accordance with Federal and State WHS acts and legislation.Perform internal audits of the HSE system and facilitate external audits as applicable.Coordinate and drive global initiatives, safety projects, and GHG (Greenhouse Gas) reduction projects.Ensure safe work practices comply with Emerson’s Safety Procedures and relevant legislation. Identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices, acting on findings appropriately.Coordinate implementation of controls and systems to improve work, health, safety, and environmental wellbeing. Conduct on-site inspections to audit physical conditions and safe work practices.Report in line with Emerson’s Scorecard, including monthly training, safety observations, and TRR.Lead incident investigations, identify causes, validate close-out actions, and review injury and environmental damage reports. Analyze HSE incident data and recommend corrective actions.Lead site HSE committee meetings and toolbox sessions to communicate hazard control information.Manage rehabilitation and return-to-work processes for onsite workers. Ensure environmental practices comply with Emerson’s Environmental Procedures and legislation.Develop and deliver EHS training materials, maintain policies and procedures, and ensure legal compliance.Plan and implement tasks to achieve business goals. Maintain training matrices and files, conduct safety observations, and facilitate new employee inductions.Incorporate HSE requirements in purchasing and control actions.
