About The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you'll lead a team of qualified trades professionals and work closely with planners to deliver safe, high‐quality maintenance execution. You'll set clear priorities, support your team's development, and help drive reliability across our substation assets.
What You'll Lead And Deliver
In this leadership role, you will:
* Lead, support and develop a high‐performing maintenance team
* Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with WHS and environmental standards
* Communicate work requirements clearly and prioritise effectively
* Mentor and coach team members, including performance development
* Collaborate with planners and operations to execute maintenance efficiently
* Support continuous improvement and proactive maintenance initiatives
What you'll bring
You will bring experience and capability that supports strong leadership and reliable maintenance execution, including:
* Experience supervising or leading trades professionals in maintenance or heavy industry
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Commitment to safety and quality
* Effective planning and problem‐solving ability
* Experience with SAP or similar maintenance systems
* Relevant Trade qualification
* HV experience and/or Cert IV Frontline Leadership (desirable)
