The Role
Are you experienced in program management, providing grant policy advice and across all facets of the grants program?
Are you looking for a long term contract, are based in Canberra and have a NV clearance?
If you answered yes, then this just might be the role for you
Duties:
* Allocating and tracking tasks in SmartyGrants, data collection/maintenance, reporting, and records management
* Developing grant guidance material, templates and tools on specific aspects of grant administration
* Providing grant policy advice and guidance to departmental staff, including interpreting and applying legislative and policy frameworks.
* Ensuring grant information on the Department's website is relevant, accurate and up to date.
* Problem solving on a range of complex grant topics, with a strong client focus.
* Building capability, driving grant best practice education and updating related tools and templates.
* Undertaking the full range of duties related to negotiating grant agreements
* Monitoring grants, including direct contact with grant recipients to ensure grants remain on track and delivered as agreed
* Ensuring grants are accurately uploaded to GrantConnect in a timely manner in compliance with the Commonwealth grants framework
* Provide secretariat support to the grant evaluation committee.
* Draft and maintain updated comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the management of the grant process.
* Providing other policy and program support to the team as required.
