About the role
Join the dynamic team at EH TAX ACCOUNTANTS as a Tax Accountant. This full-time role in Geelong West, VIC is an excellent opportunity to take your taxation expertise to the next level. As a key member of our Taxation team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse client base.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare and lodge complex individual, trust, partnership and company tax returns
* Assist with the preparation of financial statements and other tax-related documents
* Liaise with clients, tax authorities and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance
* Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and industry regulations
What we're looking for
* 3+ years of experience as a tax accountant, preferably in a public practice or boutique tax advisory firm
* Thorough understanding of Australian taxation laws and regulations, including individual, trust, partnership and company tax
* Strong technical skills in tax planning, compliance and advisory services
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
* Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
* Any tertiary qualification in accounting or related field is required for this role
