We're partnering with a large, doctor-led national organisation to place an Endorsed NP into a community-facing role based in Cairns. This isn't a desk job or a purely reactive clinical role.
You'll be doing meaningful, face-to-face work with residential aged care residents, backed by a full clinical and admin support team so you can focus on what you do best.
What the role looks like day-to-day
* You'll conduct rounds across 1 to 3 aged care homes in the Cairns area.
* Full scheduling, nursing support, and admin backup is provided throughout.
* You'll manage admissions, conduct assessments, prescribe, refer, and liaise with a broader network of specialists, all within a co‐managed care model that's genuinely raising the bar for RAC residents.
* Average caseload is around 25 appointments per day, with complexity built in.
* Procedural work (wound care, skin cancer management) is available for those who want it.
The offer
* $100–$120 per hour + GST, dependent on experience.
* Up to 3 days per week, with your choice of days.
* 9am - 5pm, weekdays only.
Who we're looking for
* Current AHPRA registration as an Endorsed Nurse Practitioner.
* Solid clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
* Comfortable working independently, thinking on your feet, and collaborating with a broader clinical team.
