Job Opportunity: Tax Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled tax professional to manage our tax affairs and provide expert advice. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, providing strategic tax planning, and coordinating annual R&D tax incentive claims.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure adherence to local and international tax laws and regulations
Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize liabilities
Coordinate annual R&D tax incentive claims and other tax-related matters
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax compliance and optimization
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and advise on implications
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
A strong background in taxation law and corporate tax
Experience working in a complex tax environment, including CFC's, tax consolidation, and foreign tax offsets
CA/CPA or equivalent qualification, with 5+ years' experience in a corporate tax specific function
Proven ability to implement Pillar 2 regulations in the ANZ region
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
In addition to the requirements above, it would be beneficial if you have:
Knowledge of VAT and transfer pricing
Experience in managing tax audits and litigations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to bring tax solutions to commercial challenges
