Overview Director Group Accounting and Reporting role at Cochlear, based in Sydney Head Office. Lead the global accounting and reporting function, ensuring strong financial controls, accurate reporting, and continuous improvement across statutory, management, and corporate accounting processes. Responsibilities Lead monthly group consolidation and management reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with global accounting standards (IFRS). Oversee and drive completion of statutory and Board reporting at half and full year, coordinating inputs across Tax, Treasury, Investor Relations, and People & Culture. Manage corporate transactional accounting including Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Payroll, Share-based payments and Intercompany. Drive continuous improvement of systems and processes to enhance reporting efficiency and control. Own global finance policies and the Global Chart of Accounts, ensuring governance and compliance. Provide accounting guidance for material transactions, new investments, and acquisitions.
