Job Summary
Schedule production workflows and manage inventory levels to meet delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
* Scheduling: Plan and coordinate work orders, routings, and delivery schedules.
* Inventory Management: Monitor and control stock levels, prevent shortages or overstocking.
* Purchase Orders: Raise and track purchase orders with vendors to meet production requirements.
* Auditing: Conduct regular audits on the inventory system to ensure accuracy.
* Process Development: Collaborate with management to develop and maintain inventory control systems.
* Data Entry: Record work time allocations, procurement of supplies, and service requirements.
* Purchase Order Requests: Issue purchase order requests to suppliers.
* Stock Take: Organize scheduled stock takes of inventory and assets.
* Procedure Establishment: Assist in establishing and implementing procedures for purchasing.
* Report Analysis: Utilize generated reports for maintaining purchasing systems and processes.
* Error Resolution: Resolve purchasing errors and returns.
* Data Maintenance: Maintain purchasing data, including cost allocation and tracking.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a customer-focused manufacturing environment.
* Purchasing experience in a fast-paced and customer-oriented setting.
* Demonstrated skills in process control, scheduling, stock movement, and asset management.
