Program Leadership Role
A leadership opportunity exists for a skilled and experienced early childhood professional to oversee the implementation of engaging, developmentally appropriate programs for children.
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing and implementing play-based, Reggio Emilia focused, programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
Key Responsibilities:
* Program Development: Develop innovative, age-specific programs that foster exploration and creativity in children.
* Team Collaboration: Mentor and support educators to ensure a collaborative and professional team environment.
* Child Protection: Promote and maintain a culture of safeguarding, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children within your care.
* Engagement with Families: Build strong relationships with families through regular communication about their child's progress and promoting involvement in their child's program.
* Compliance and Quality: Ensure programs meet regulatory requirements and strive for continuous improvement in service delivery.
Requirements:
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification.
* Experience in leading educational programs in an early childhood setting.
* Comprehensive understanding of the EYLF and NQS.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Commitment to safeguarding children and upholding their rights.
