Employment Relations Specialist

We are seeking an ambitious Employment Relations Specialist with 2-4 years post-admission experience to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for a broad range of employment and industrial relations matters and be able to work on complex cases alongside a collaborative team with significant direct client contact.
The role involves working on various employment, discrimination, and industrial relations matters across different sectors, including health, education, construction, manufacturing, and finance. Advisory support and representation in Courts or tribunals are key aspects of the job.
To succeed, you will ideally have:
* 2-4 years post-admission experience working on employment and industrial relations matters
* Experience in litigation in various courts or tribunals (ideally Fair Work Commission, Federal Court of Australia, Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, and Supreme Court of Victoria)
* Strong drafting skills, including court documents and affidavits, alongside good knowledge of civil procedure
* Good writing skills to provide concise advice to clients
* Knowledge of employment law and discrimination law obtained through academic study or practical experience
* Capability to manage your own time, work autonomously, and meet tight deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail
* A team player mentality, supportive working style, self-motivated attitude, and eagerness to learn and grow
