We're looking for an energetic and commercially minded Business Development Manager to drive growth, build strong client relationships, and help expand our presence across key markets. In this role, you'll identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients. You'll play a key part in increasing revenue, improving customer retention, and strengthening our market position.
What You'll Do
* Meet sales targets and grow revenue across assigned accounts
* Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities
* Deliver engaging presentations and communicate our value proposition
* Lead bid and tender processes, including proposals, presentations, and negotiations
* Build strong customer relationships to maximise satisfaction and profitability
* Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to support strategy
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop customer‐focused solutions
* Support the full project cycle—from sales through to delivery and follow‐up
* Maintain accurate CRM records and sales activity tracking
* Attend customer and site meetings as required
* Assist with key account management and general sales support
What You'll Bring
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar business development role
* Strong business development and bid management capability
* Experience in construction, civil, or project‐based environments (preferred)
* High commercial acumen and a results‐driven mindset
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Strong customer service focus
* Advanced skills in MS Office and CRM systems
* Proven ability to build effective internal and external stakeholder relationships
