**_Where you'll be working_**
The Cancer Institute NSW is the NSW Government's cancer control agency, established to lessen the impact of cancer across the state.

**_ What you'll be doing_**
The role is responsible for supporting the organisation's strategic goals through planning, preparation, marketing, management and delivery of key events held by the Cancer Institute.
**_ Remuneration/Benefits_**
In addition to base salary:
- 5% superannuation
- 4 weeks annual leave (plus 17.5% leave loading)
- 10 days sick leave
- 40 hours per week which include accrual of monthly Allocated Day Off (ADO) x 12 per year.

**_Essential requirements_**
- Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering successful large-scale events and conferences, with mínimal supervision, and effective management of project event budgets and risks.
- Demonstrated experience in managing external suppliers and generating event sponsorship opportunities.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills and proven written skills and ability to produce high quality documentation and communications materials for a range of audiences.
- Proven skills and experience in project management and the capacity to manage a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders whilst dealing with competing priorities and delivering high quality outcomes within agreed deadlines.
