Base pay range
A$140,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr
Company People in Payroll are proud to be partnering exclusively with a much-loved, ASX-listed organisation based here in Melbourne's SE.
We’re on the lookout for an experienced Payroll Manager for a contract role, working closely with both Payroll and HR teams to support a payroll simplification initiative and an upcoming HRIS and payroll system upgrade.
Responsibilities
- Support the current Payroll Manager with BAU operations.
- Lead and contribute to business-critical projects across compliance, HRIS, and payroll systems.
- Ensure payroll accuracy and reporting integrity remains at the highest standard.
- Assist with the rebuild and uplift of the Payroll Team.
What we’re looking for (Qualifications)
- Proven leadership experience managing large and complex payroll functions, ideally in high-volume environments with multiple EBAs and Awards.
- Robust project experience — thrives juggling multiple priorities and guiding teams through transformation.
- Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused, with a passion for continuous improvement.
Salary up to $160K + Super.
