To get our guests' memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we're looking for a Guest Service Agent who can make transactions feel seamless, offer exceptional local insights, and anticipate every request to make our guests feel right at home.ResponsibilitiesKicking off truly memorable guest experiences with the warmest of welcomesAcknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests in person or over the phoneTaking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookingsMaking the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamlessStaying one step of our guests' needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendationsBeing our guests' trusted contact – offering information for anything from local tourist attractions to public transportQualifications2+ years experience in Customer Service - going above and beyond to offer the customer a memorable experienceCommunication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you'll be easy to talk toThe ability to think on your feet and offer guests solutions and information especially to those new to local areaTech savvy - you'll have a good grasp of common PC software and an ability to quickly learn hotel specific softwareThe ability to work part time shifts on a rotating roster mostly between 7am - 11pm, over 7 days a week, and help out with overnight shifts when needed.What you can expect from usWe give our people everything they need to succeed.
