About You
Are you committed, enthusiastic and have a great eye for detail?
In this role, you will manage a small team of warehouse staff to be the first point of call for all stock coming into our Australasian Distribution Warehouse. Lead and direct the receiving warehouse team to ensure stock is put away efficiently and into logical locations, as well as ensuring all incoming product is presented in the warehouse in a consistent and high-quality fashion.
Work with the product managers, fellow warehouse leaders and supply chain team to respond to stock discrepancies, quantity errors and any other issues that may arise, coordinating improvements and quality standards based on priorities and as requested.
**Skills and Experiences**: 
**To be successful in this role you will bring**:
- Logical, clear thinker, able to take a long-term view and plan for long term benefit through organisation. 
- At least 2 years' experience in aspects of warehousing, distribution and leadership desirable. 
- Capable of accurate interpretation of computerized RF devices and reasonable numeric and reading skills. 
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
- Computer skills - MS Office proficiency - Word, Excel, and Outlook. 
- A helpful, positive, and courteous manner enjoys working with people and the ability to lead a team to drive improvement. 
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
- Well-presented and punctual. 
- Enthusiasm and the physical ability to work as required within a warehouse environment. 
- A sound knowledge of manual handling, safety awareness, forklift safety and workplace harassment are required
