Full‐time field‐based role with significant overtime earning potential. You will deliver quality service to customers through scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repair work on material handling equipment.
Responsibilities
* Servicing and repair of material handling equipment in a dedicated territory and customer base – help Crown build positive customer experiences.
* Use of the latest field‐based mobile technology to manage your daily work schedule.
* Inventory input on your company‐allocated service van and customer sites – deliver a professional level of service.
* Gain experience handling Australia's top‐tier customer base.
* Join the leading forklift service business in Australia – the largest forklift service provider in the country.
* Complete an initial 8‐week onboarding and industry‐leading training program.
* Perform routine maintenance and complete service work – reactive and planned.
* Accurately maintain important service records of work performed.
* Conduct customer‐focused scheduled and breakdown services.
* Assist in preparing field‐based quotes for customers through the completion of jobs.
* Record notes and file service records appropriately, providing high‐level customer service to help customers solve their material handling needs.
* Access industry‐leading training and development and grade progression opportunities, including the potential to train less experienced service technicians.
* Maintain up‐to‐date technical knowledge, including emerging technologies in automation and telematics.
* Keep abreast of industry trends, new products and services.
* Partner with the company to maximise additional sales and service across a dedicated customer base.
Qualifications
* Prior experience as a forklift mechanic or service technician appreciated but not essential.
* Ability to perform scheduled maintenance, safety checks, and repairs.
* Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
* Excellent problem‐solving skills.Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good communication and customer service skills.
