Some of the practical activities of the role include:
- Supervision and management of geotechnical site investigations, including managing subcontractors
- Organise and conduct field investigation works, including data collection;
- Problem solve difficult geology by using analyses programs, working on projects such as landslides; hazards risk assessments; rock and anchor design
- Adhere to relevant Work Health and Safety requirements
- Prepare proposals by scoping investigations to target project outcomes and client requirements;
- Engage in technical report writing

Bachelor Degree in
- Engineering - Civil, Geotechnical
- Sciences - Geology, Groundwater
Other criteria
- Possession of a valid Australian driver’s licence
- You enjoy the balance of working onsite and in the office
- An interest in continued learning and building your career in the geotechnical/environmental / groundwater and earthworks in the civil field
