Some of the practical activities of the role include:
* Supervision and management of geotechnical site investigations, including managing subcontractors
* Organise and conduct field investigation works, including data collection
* Problem solve difficult geology by using analyses programs, working on projects such as landslides; hazards risk assessments; rock and anchor design
* Adhere to relevant Work Health and Safety requirements
* Prepare proposals by scoping investigations to target project outcomes and client requirements
* Engage in technical report writing

About You
Bachelor Degree in:
* Engineering - Civil, Geotechnical
* Sciences - Geology, Groundwater
Other criteria:
* Possession of a valid Australian driver’s licence
* You enjoy the balance of working onsite and in the office
* An interest in continued learning and building your career in the geotechnical/environmental / groundwater and earthworks in the civil field
