Huf Builders are a small, well-established family business, founded on many years of dedication, care, passion and quality. We specialise in building architecurally designed homes, custom builds & renovations.
We are currently looking for a qualified carpenter to work with our team in the Warrnambool and Port Fairy areas.
Responsibilities Include:
* Performing all carpentry duties including but not limited to site setouts, demolition works, building & installing timber framing, external wall cladding, building timber features including decking, window installations, waterproofing & tiling, & internal fitouts
* Reading & understanding sketches and plans to determine measurements & materials required
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship, whilst working in a small carpentry team and with various subtrades
* Undertaking and completing building tasks as directed by the Director / Site Foreman
* Providing pleasant & courteous customer service and communications to our clients
* On occassion, you may be required to work alongside our teams in the wider Hamilton & Cavendish areas
What we are looking for:
* Someone who has a strong work ethic, takes pride in their work, and brings a positive & can-do attitude to the team
* Proficiency in all aspects of residential carpentry, with a sound knowledge of standards and practices
* A minimum of 2 years' building industry experience, in a similar role
* A Certificate III in Carpentry or above
* Construction White Card
* A drivers license and own vehicle; your own tools
