We seek an experienced F5 DNS Solutions Architect to spearhead the design, implementation, and optimization of innovative DNS solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating end-to-end F5 DNS solutions that meet business needs for scalability, high availability, and security.
* Develop and implement advanced F5 DNS architectures, including Authoritative, Recursive, and Cache Server designs.
* Integrate DNS64, DNSSEC, and other advanced DNS features into existing infrastructures to ensure seamless IPv6/IPv4 interoperability.
* Create a comprehensive DNS architecture roadmap, aligning with business and technical requirements, and ensuring the future scalability and robustness of the DNS ecosystem.
* Design and implement DNS security solutions, leveraging F5's DNS features to prevent DDoS attacks, enhance DNS security, and ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with other architects, engineers, and network teams to ensure seamless integration with the broader network infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, load balancers, and security solutions).
Requirements:
* Extensive experience designing and deploying large-scale F5 DNS solutions, specifically Authoritative DNS, Recursive DNS, and Cache Server architectures.
* Deep understanding of DNS64, DNSSEC, Anycast DNS, and Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB).
* Proven track record of architecting secure, highly available, and scalable DNS infrastructures in complex environments.
* Hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP DNS (A10, GTM, LTM) platforms, including advanced configurations for DNS performance, redundancy, and security.
* Strong knowledge of IPv6/IPv4 transition mechanisms, particularly DNS64 for IPv6 support.
* Expertise in DNS security best practices, including mitigation of DDoS attacks and integration with security appliances.
