About the Role:
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Perioperative Anaesthetics provides high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing surgical and procedural interventions. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary perioperative team, the RN supports safe anaesthetic practice, patient monitoring, and recovery while promoting optimal clinical outcomes. The role involves comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care, with a strong focus on patient safety, continuous improvement, and professional development from graduate to advanced practice level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain anaesthetic equipment
* Assist the anaesthetist during induction, maintenance, and emergence
* Monitor patient status and respond to clinical changes
* Provide pre- and post-operative support to patients
* Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and accreditation standards

What We're Looking For:
* Registered with current AHPRA registration
* A commitment to high-quality, patient-centred care and accreditation standards
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Adaptability and a proactive approach in a fast-paced surgical environment
* WWVP registration and a current police check
* Immunisation compliance
* Valid working rights in Australia
