Government agency tasked with making life easier, accessible, and equitable for thousands of individuals and families across Australia. Our client is currently seeking a Director of Risk Management to join their busy team for a 12-month temporary assignment, working in a project environment.
About the role:
Leading a project team, including project delivery and planningProject management tasks including governance, reporting, risk, assurance and budget managementDeveloping and maintaining the Risk Management Plan and related policies and proceduresExtensive stakeholder engagement at all levelsProviding risk advice for the project, and monitoring associated risk and compliance to legislative requirementsAnalysis of risk and assurance management processesPeople management of a project team, including strategic and operational support
About you:Experience working in a fast-paced project/PMO environment on large scale projectsExcellent knowledge and experience of project managementExperience in working with project risk processes, governance and assuranceStrong analytical skills and attention to detailStrong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work at all levels and provide project-related risk adviceStrong leadership skills, particularly in leading teams in a project environment
