This role ensures compliance with regulations, promotes continuous improvement, and proactively mitigates risks.Responsibilities include but are not limited toDevelop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure their implementation.Manage incident investigations.Establish and oversee safety training programs for employees.Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations.Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures.Monitor and report on environmental performance metrics.Conduct quality audits to ensure compliance with standards.Provide safety training at all levels.Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct drills.What you'll need to succeedStrong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.What you'll get in returnA salary of around $90,000 + super, offering exposure to all facets of safety and fostering a safety-first culture.What you need to do nowIf interested, email your resume to Claire.borwick@hays.com.au.
