RACV Retail Outlet in Bendigo is seeking a customer service specialist to assist members and customers in store and via the Memberline Contact Centre. The role involves handling enquiries about Home & Car Insurance, Emergency Assistance, Travel Insurance, and Attraction tickets.
Key Details
- Start date: Monday, 13th of July
- Employment type: Permanent, Full Time (38 hours) with a 6‐week fixed roster, including rotating Saturdays and no public holiday work.
Responsibilities
- Provide immediate and effective solutions to members through meaningful, personalized conversations.
- Identify member needs, educate them, and offer the best solutions for their motoring requirements.
- Deliver exceptional service experiences and champion a customer‐centric mindset.
- Assist with inbound home and motor insurance calls for the Memberline Contact Centre.
Qualifications & Skills
- Face‐to‐face and telephone customer service experience.
- Self‐driven and motivated to succeed.
- Proficient in navigating multiple systems.
- Enthusiastic, resilient, and committed to a positive member experience.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Prior experience achieving sales targets and KPIs is highly regarded but not essential.
- Previous experience in a similar role or in a phone‐based customer service environment is highly regarded.
Training Program
RACV offers a 7‐week full‐time paid training program (Monday‐Friday) that may include 2–3 days at the Noble Park, VIC office. The program includes virtual classroom work, real‐time store experience, buddy sessions, and ongoing support.
