About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated Sample Receipt Officer to join our dynamic team at our contract pharmaceutical laboratory in Bayswater. This role involves the efficient receipt, registration, and dispatch of pharmaceutical samples for analysis.
You will be responsible for:
* Receiving and accurately registering incoming samples and chemicals, ensuring proper documentation and labelling.
* Entering sample information into our laboratory information management systems (LIMS) with attention to detail.
* Entering chemical information into our quality management system, ensuring correct labelling and storage.
* Liaising with clients and internal teams to address inquiries and provide updates on sample status.
* Maintaining adherence to quality control procedures and regulatory requirements.
To be successful in this position you will have:
* TAFE or science qualifications are desirable.
* Previous experience in sample receipt role is advantageous.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Proficiency in data entry and use of laboratory software.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.
